Getting Started with Dargon
By now, it is assumed that you have Installed Dargon.
The Panels of Dargon Manager
For the end user, only three panels are important: the My Packages view, the Game Resource Browser view, and the Console view.
1. The My Packages View
You can drop League of Legends modifications into the My Packages view. After you have dropped them in, you must check them to enable them. Then, you should create your own practice game to test out your modification, before playing with the reset of the community.
Once again, you should always follow this procedure when using Dargon:
- Import Modifications into Dargon. Make sure to enable them with the checkbox.
- Join a practice game to test out your modification.
- ???
- PROFIT!
2. The Game Resource Browser View
You can browse the game's resources using the Game Resource Browser view. By default, Dargon comes with the "Dump" extension, which allows you to right click nodes to dump their contents. You can also preview some nodes in Dargon.
3. The Console View
The console will sometimes give you feedback on what you're doing. Watch it to see if your operation has failed. In early Dargon builds, the console is not that useful, as the majority of useful data is stored in Dargon's log files.

Importing Files into Dargon
As previously stated, you can drop files into Dargon's My Packages view. If Dargon doesn't let you drop files into it, you may also import files through File → Import Modifications.
Looking into the "# Unresolved Modifications" status
After dropping a modification into Dargon, you might see "# Unresolved Modifications" to the right of your modification. Don't fret, this is simply telling you that Dargon was unable to match a file you passed into it with a file from League of Legend's resources. Right click the node and select the "fix" option to view its properties. Currently, Dargon does not allow you to fix modifications through the UI.
It's usually pretty obvious when an unresolved modification matters or doesn't matter. If you have "ReadMe.txt" not being resolved, that's not much of an issue.
